Yoga Blocks and Hardback Books

I've started to use blocks to explore postures and stretches to see whether I can get a deeper stretch in some of the more challenging poses whilst staying safe and protecting myself.


If you don't have a yoga block then a couple of books wrapped in a towel to stop them sliding on your mat will do the trick. Try it as an option next time you are practicing, you might find that bringing yourself deeper into a posture or alternatively easing back a little is more beneficial.
